Pheenix for the ZX Spectrum computers is a clone of the arcade game Phoenix. This was released in 1983 by Megadodo Software. It is actually a really good looking arcade conversion and a challenge to play. The only thing lacking is sound, very little sound at all but the great graphics and gameplay make up for it.

Vintage 1960's Anacin TV Commercial
I can see some inspiration was taken from this old film and used in the 1939 MGM film such as the look of the Scarecrow and how he moved. And the Wicked Witch as well.
Omg! I had that Revco Whirlybird toy. Provided hours and hours of fun.
4:45 Oof. Barbie looked more like the banjo guy from Deliverance. They all had a fivehead.
Crazy to think while this was being shown in theaters the Titanic was under construction.
Pretty much every toy in this commercial is $200-$500 on the secondhand market now.
Gaylord for a toy dog hahahahahha x
This clip is from 106 years ago and it is a million times better than the images of the moon landing .
Those toys guns would not be tolerated today.
So my dad's dad used to work at Olympia beer long, long ago. My dad's dad is gone, and my dad is 65 now, I wonder how would my dad's dad would react to see me for the first time! 😁
Yes, looks just like superman.
That rocking horse likely hurt the people it kicked .
See how we envisioned computers as machines to help us do work better and get more time to live life? Where did we go wrong?
The ones with commercials so far: Q-Bert Frogger Popeye G.I. Joe: Cobra Strike Star Wars (two games) Amidar Tutankham Reactor Spider-Man

5:03 can anyone write this in non cursive for me to read?
the fact on how this was made before the titanic sunk & WW1 Is mind blowing
The burger king wanted to become a vanilla sheik.
The king sounds a lot like King Leonardo of The King Leonardo and His Short Subjects cartoons.
The quality is better than Bigfoot and alien videos.
These commercials are hilarious 😂
Classic vintage commercials i love seeing on you tube
I work for Westerly Marina, a Mercury dealership on the Hudson River in Ossining, NY. The family has had the marina and store since 1959 and we still have a bunch of abandoned outboards that were left for repairs or storage over the years. Just what's sitting around (without digging), I know I have three "dock-busters", a 65, a 110, and a handful of the later 70s and early 80s Marathon engines that just used the horsepower rating on the cowl. (There are more, I just can't remember the models of them off hand.) Plus, we actually still see at least one or two of these vintage motors come in every year when someone finds one at a tag sale or in a relative's garage, so I still fix and re-activate these old smokers to this day. We have a whole separate parts room full of NOS/NLA parts for Mercury and MerCruiser consisting of parts that have been here on location since they were current stock. I have entire NOS outdrive cases from the early 70s, in the box. Un-obtanium early electronic ignition parts. Pistons and needle bearings. It's like the weirdest museum you can imagine... This was really cool to come across. I've only been there for about the last 18 years, but I'm the one guy there who has an eye for all the old stuff. If anyone is looking for very specific old stuff and can find Sing Sing Prison, you can find us. I'd love to see it used to fix a LARGER old thing.

Head shrinking kit, yes.
Just wonderful
What's most remarkable about this film outside of its importance as the first known filmed adaptation of Frank L. Baum's famed story is that it serves as an excellent time capsule of the motion picture arts as it existed 15 years after the introduction of the commercial movie by Dickson-Edison and the Lumiere Brothers. Just think how far movies advanced both technologically and artistically in the short 29-year span that separates this black-and-white, silent two-reeler from the MGM technicolor extravaganza we all know and still adore today!
People who would have been making these things are probably unemployed and homeless today. That period of prosperity when America was unchallenged in all things lasted only 25-30 years. I was lucky to be around to see it. Today the United States has the world's most powerful army, hordes of foreign laborers to keep everyone alive, and very little else!
Great memories. I had many of these toys. By age 1 yr., I had my first pair of six shooters and every type of gun made during the sixties. Most of our toys were very interactive and fun. Good times.
I had the Tommy-Burst gun and I think a Remco pineapple grenade. I now have much more accurate replica Thompsons but I still want to get my Mattel Tommy-Burst again.
That “extra ingredient?” Xanax. 🫠🤤❤
4:55 Gaylord what kind of name is that dog? 😂😂😂
What gets me are the actors in the animal costumes, especially the Cowardly Lion. Cute and funny!
All Old. All Dead. Yes. Get ready.
$9.00 for that Casper doll? Now I know why I never got that. Instead, around 1966, I got Chatty Baby, and later Chatty Brother, they cost less than that.
I had so many of the Remco Toys. My oldest sisters boyfriend and later husband worked for Remco in NJ and would get me almost every toy they had! Reb Cannon, Frogman, helicopter , battleship, you name it ! Early mid 60’s great time to be a kid especially a boy! Boys toys were great!!
If you're providing beer and/or piazza at the end of your move, even the scrawniest of guys will become Mr Universe. Or in this case Mr Olympia.
Vroom was the greatest toy ever. Except hot wheels, of course. And Maj Matt Mason.
Who was the girl that played Dorothy????
Gaylord the dog... comes with a bone of his own!
